Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Upstate Farms® Lowfat Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 8 mini brioche or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Upstate Farms® buttermilk (for slaw)
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  • Step 1: Marinate chicken in buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper for 1–4 hours.
  • Step 2: Mix flour with a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Step 3: Heat oil to 350°F. Dredge chicken in flour and fry until golden and cooked through (about 5–6 min).
  • Step 4: Mix coleslaw mix with lime juice, honey, buttermilk, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 5: Assemble sliders with buns, fried chicken, slaw, and pickles.
