A cold and refreshing smoothie bowl with a crunchy and delicious topping.
Chef Tip: Add coconut flakes or a nut butter as a topping to the smoothie bowl.
Ingredients
Yield: 48 servings
- 1 batch Berries and Cream Smoothie
Peanut Butter Granola:
- 20 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 3 1/3 cups Sliced Almonds
- 3 1/3 cups Chopped Peanuts
- 1 1/4 cups Chia Seeds
- 2 1/2 cups Agave Syrup
- 5 cups Unsweetened Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Kosher Salt
- 1/2 cup of Vanilla Extract
Garnish:
- Sliced Banana (as needed)
- Shaved Dark Chocolate (as needed)
Directions
Peanut Butter Granola:
- Combine oats, almonds, peanuts, and chia. Set aside.
- Melt peanut butter and agave together in a saucepan. Once melted, add salt, and vanilla then pour over oats. Mix until well covered.
- Spread granola in a single layer on an oiled sheet tray and bake for 30 minutes at 300°F. Then allow to cool.
Smoothie Bowl:
- Pour 1 c of Berries and Cream Smoothie into a bowl.
- Top with ½ c granola, bananas, and shaved dark chocolate.
