Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup Upstate Farms® Lowfat Buttermilk
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 8 mini brioche or Hawaiian rolls
- 2 cups coleslaw mix
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Upstate Farms® buttermilk (for slaw)
- Pickles (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Marinate chicken in buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper for 1–4 hours.
- Step 2: Mix flour with a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Step 3: Heat oil to 350°F. Dredge chicken in flour and fry until golden and cooked through (about 5–6 min).
- Step 4: Mix coleslaw mix with lime juice, honey, buttermilk, salt, and pepper.
- Step 5: Assemble sliders with buns, fried chicken, slaw, and pickles.
